Click the orange "+" at the bottom right of your screen while in a channel or in your course feed. Select post, poll, or note. If you're on the home feed, you'll be required to select the desired channel and a title for your post. Pro tip: Make sure to pin important notes, pins, and posts to the top of your main feed to help make sure it’s seen!
After clicking a post, type your text in the "Write a comment" box and then push the message button on the right to post.
Go into the admin panel through the "gear" icon while on your course feed. Select "Invite/Manage Users". You can then invite individual students via email or bulk invite your entire class through copying and pasting emails from a csv file or spreadsheet. If students have accounts created, they can search for you course via the search bar or copy and paste your course URL and request access. With this option, you'd have to accept students into the course manually.
Click the orange "+" at the bottom right of your screen while in a channel or in your course feed. Select "poll". Choose your channel, enter the question for the poll, add a minimum of two answer choices, and choose a date for the poll to end. We offer unlimited polls!
Go into the admin panel through the "gear" icon while on your course feed. Select "Security Settings". Scroll down and you'll find where you can toggle on/off anonymous posting and anonymous commenting for students. To post anonymously, toggle the "anonymous" button on before publishing your post. To comment anonymously, select the "detective" icon next to the send button to highlight it. Once highlighted, your comment or reply will be completely anonymous.
Go into settings, to security settings, then toggle "deactivate" and select "delete course".
Go to your profile, then to settings, select security settings and then toggle "deactivate" and select "delete course".
Go into the admin panel through the "gear" icon while on your course feed. Select "Channel Management". To add a new channel, click the "add channel" text box. Type in the name for your channel, the type of channel you want, and click the green "+" to confirm. You can edit all of your channel names and settings below by selecting them.
Instructor-only: Only instructors have access. Open: Everyone in the course has access.
Go to your profile and hover over the field or icon you want to edit. After making your desired changes, click the green check to save.
